Corn oil is traditionally used as a fresh salad dressing, in margarine production, and also for roasting. Interstarch Ukraine produces raw, as well as refined and deodorized corn oil. Corn oil is obtained as a result of two-stage pressing of corn embryos, followed by purification and treatment with dry steam. It is easily digested, contains vitamins, lowers blood cholesterol, and therefore finds wide use in cooking and the food industry. Refined corn oil during frying does not form carcinogens, nor affects the taste of the final product.
