Interstarch at Alimentaria 2026
Interstarch took part in Alimentaria 2026, one of the most influential international trade fairs for the food and beverage sector in Spain. The exhibition, held from 23 to 26 March 2026 in Barcelona, brought together thousands of professionals from across the global food industry, including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, ingredient suppliers, and technology providers.
Recognized as a key platform for industry dialogue and innovation, Alimentaria plays an important role in shaping the development of the food sector in Spain and neighboring markets. Participation in the exhibition allowed Interstarch to further strengthen its presence in the region, expand relationships with partners and customers, and explore new business opportunities within the Spanish and Mediterranean food markets.
The scale and diversity of the exhibition were reflected in its specialized sectors, including Intercarn, Interlact, Expoconser, Restaurama, Coffee, Bakery & Pastry, Fine Foods, and Organic Foods, highlighting the wide spectrum of products, technologies, and solutions presented throughout the event.
During the exhibition, the Interstarch team presented its portfolio of ingredients for food applications, including native and modified starches, maltodextrins, crystalline fructose, vital wheat gluten, and gluten-free solutions, which are widely used in a variety of product categories such as bakery, dairy products, snacks, sauces, and other processed foods.
Throughout the event, the Interstarch team held numerous meetings with partners, customers, and industry professionals, discussing ingredient functionality, new product development opportunities, and potential areas for cooperation. The exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to exchange expertise, strengthen existing partnerships, and establish new industry connections.
