Interstarch Ukraine become a certified biofuel supplier within SURE voluntary certification scheme

Interstarch Ukraine was certified within SURE voluntary certification scheme and confirmed its compliance with the requirements of the European Union Directive 2018/2001 - RED II on promotion of renewable sources energy use.

Voluntary certification systems such as SURE are a legitimate way to document compliance with RED II criteria. This standard was developed to ensure compliance with the criteria for sustainable production and use of forest biomass, agricultural raw materials, including waste from its processing, and standards for heat and electricity production from biomass or biogas.

The KRZ system is based on the requirements set out in Directive 2018/2001 (RED II). Certificates issued according to the KRZ system are recognized by other voluntary certification systems.

From now Interstarch Ukraine is a certified biofuel supplier in full compliance with the EU Directive on promoting renewable sources energy use, and the company's products meet the rules and standards introduced on the international market. Thus, we continue to take new steps towards the strategy of our business sustainability.
