Interstarch presented its products at the largest exhibition in North America, IFT FIRST, Chicago
Interstarch participated in the largest B2B exhibition in the field of food industry in North America IFT FIRST, which took place on July 16-19, 2023 in Chicago, USA.
"Your future is here" – exhibition’s motto in 2023 and the event itself was dedicated to the latest technologies in food industry and global food safety. The IFT platform brings science and business together to find the best solutions in the global science-foodstuffs community.
IFT FIRST is the place where ingredient suppliers, food and beverage developers, professionals, and startups from around the world present their latest developments, set industry trends, seek solutions and discuss innovations.
IFT FIRST 2023 hosted more than 800 exhibitors, more than 100 scientific sessions and discussions on global food industry issues.
Interstarch team was pleased to welcome the existing and potential customers and business partners on its exhibition booth.
We presented our product range: modified starches for preparation of various types of sauces, meat semi-finished products, dressings, new pregelatinized starch E1422 Interstarch АХА30.50CWS, which is already well proven among our mayonnaise-producers customers, native cold-swelling starches (CWS) of German and Ukrainian production for use in baking and snacks, crystalline fructose, dry glucose syrups, maltodextrins, vital wheat gluten.
As noted by Nick Prognimak, Regional Export Sales Manager, USA and Canada: "The US market is one of the largest consumers of vital wheat gluten. It is going about almost 400,000 tons of this product per year, half of the volume is imported. North America is one of the most promising markets for starch consumption, with annual growth forecast of 2.1% in 2021-2026. The increase of starch products and gluten consumption is mostly in bakery production, production of dairy products, sauces, and various types of snacks. That is why it is so important for us to be here and now.
