Interstarch Ukraine has passed the EcoVadis evaluation process

Interstarch Ukraine supplies starch products around the world and guarantees its customers an environmentally and socially responsible supply chain. That is why it was decided to go through the evaluation process EcoVadis.

EcoVadis operates the 1st collaborative platform enabling companies to monitor the Sustainability performance of their suppliers, across 150 sectors and 110 countries. The objective of the EcoVadis Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Rating methodology is to assess the quality of a company’s CSR management system – through its policies, implementation measures and results.

The assessment of CSR practices is performed by team of Sustainable Development experts. The assessment focus on 21 issues which are grouped into 4 themes (i.e. environment, labor practices & human rights, fair business practices, sustainable procurement). The 21 issues or criteria are based upon international CSR standards such as the Global Compact Principles, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard, the ISO 26000 standard, and the CERES principles.
